My Village Water Well

"My Village Water Well" is the method to sponsor Theovision International's medical humanitarian outreach.  See My Village Bible Study for information about how THEOVISION INTERNATIONAL selects villages with the greatest need for the physical healing that comes from fresh water. Briefly stated, Bible studies are held in villages by staff members who travel to remote villages and play portions of the Bible in the local language. People gather, listen, learn and request the studies to continue weekly.  From these humble beginnings, lives are changed and churches are formed.  In this process spiritual needs are met but significant physical needs remain unmet because fresh water is simply not available in thousands of villages where Bible listening groups are held weekly.

You can sponsor a well in one of these villages and save lives with out leaving home.

For $5,500. you can place a well in a village.

We will assign a village (by village name) to you and guarantee that a well will be installed.  The well will be managed by the village under the watchful eye of THEOVISION INTERNATIONAL. Visit www.theovisioninternational.org for more information.

THEOVISION staff visit the village on a regular basis to insure the well will not fall into disrepair.

Village Chief in Hatika, Ghana: "For over 50 years we had no good drinking water. We drank from stagnant streams and walked for miles in search of water. We suffered from many waterborne diseases. However, since you supplied our village with the well and clean water, nobody has complained of any of those diseases. Thank you, and God bless you." A small committee of villagers collect a modest fee from users to maintain the well in addition to meeting emergency health needs in the village. In addition to Hatika, 13 local villages obtain their water from this well.
