Theovision continues to record the Bible in more new languages. Technicians have recently recorded the New Testament in nine languages in six African countries. Pray for them as the now edit these languages: Gbaya Northwest and Venda and Samba Leko (Cameroon); Murle and Ndogo (Sudan); Snago (Central African Republic); Vai (Liberia); Lusama (Uganda); and Limba West (Sierra Leone).
Word For All Within the month WFA presented an audio New Testament and equipment to the Adenta Community Basic School in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Once a week all of the pupils gather and listen to the unadulterated Word of God, discuss it and with the help of their teachers/ facilitators try to find Biblical answers to questions posed. Several young lives have been transformed through the Bible Listening Program. Theovision therefore tries as much as is within its power as God provides the funds to expand the Bible Listening Program to as many schools and communities as possible.
Theovision provides electricity for cluster of schools.
Theovision has commissioned an electrification project worth ten thousand Ghana Cedis for Nii Sowah Din Memorial Cluster of Schools at Ashalley Botwe near Nmai Djorn in the Greater Accra Region. Nii Sowah Din is one of the numerous schools in Ghana where Theovision ha established a Bible Listening Program. The lack of electricity had adversely affected effective teaching and learning in the school in several ways. More than 90% of the pupils are computer illiterates although the school has some computers. The 2,000 pupils could not benefit from the Presidential Special Initiative (pre recorded video lessons supplied by the government of Ghana).
For years, the compound had served as a haven for all kinds of social deviants because it was very dark in the night. Many thieves and armed robbers would run into the school compound when they were being chased but escaped because of the darkness. Theovision saw the plight of the pupils and decided to come to their aid. Thus the electrification of the school has come as a relief not only to the school but also to the whole of the Nmai Djorn community.

Missionary Support
Recording teams continue to record the Bible in new languages in Africa. Here is an update of the latest recordings.
This summer the New Testament was recorded in these languages: Loma in Liberia, Parka, Matal, Vengo, Mundani, Fali South and Pitoa Garoua in Cameroon. Pray for the technicians who spend months editing the recordings before they can be distributed.
WORD for ALL
The Bible is played during school sessions at the request of the government. Here is an update of the impact it is making.
We have girls in the school who are into relationships with men. A girl told me she used to sleep with two men every night and each man gave her about five dollars. This is because her mother gave birth to her when she was a teenager and left her in the care of a distant relative. This “uncle” stared molesting her sexually at a tender age so by the time she was in her teens, she was already used to sleeping with men. One day, after listening to the audio Bible Theovision provided to the school she confessed her sin and repented. Her life is changed because of God's WORD in her life.
WORD for ALL
The recording team of Johnson and Philip are doing well in Sudan where they are recording the New Testament in two languages. The languages are Dinka-Rek and Avokaya. They arrived in Juba and they are recording in the Yei and Wau villages. We need you to pray for the team’s safety while in Sudan and for a successful recording.
After several years of conflict in the Darfur Region, Southern Sudan will hold an independence referendum on whether or not it should remain part of Sudan in January 2011. This means that from now till January next year the country is peaceful and accessible. Since nobody knows what will happen after January 2011, Theovision has decided to cash in on the peaceful situation now and record the Bible in as many Sudanese languages as possible before the referendum since the prevailing situation might change. They are preparing to send Caleb, one of our technicians, to do a research on Murle language and a second team, as soon as possible, to record the Bible in Luwo and Ndogo languages. Pray that God will continue to protect Johnson and Philip who have been in Sudan for about 8 weeks. Also pray for travelling mercies for Caleb and the second team. Sudanese need to listen to the audio Bible in their language.
WORD for ALL update from Sudan: Weather makes recording difficult in remote places. Technicians in Pibor, Sudan are ready to record the Murle language. Heavy rains have destroyed roads and now the runway has also been bombed. As a result planes have been grounded. Pray for the safety of the technicians so they can record the New Testament in several languages in Sudan.
Tree of Life Medical Clinic
Theovision is building a clinic in Accra to beef up its Rural Health Care Projects. The clinic, when completed, will serve as a support base for the medical outreach to needy villages. Pray that God himself will provide all the equipment and materials that are needed for this important clinic to be completed.
Another ministry of Theovision is showing the Jesus film in remote villages in Ghana. Here is an update of changed lives because of the ministry outreach.
I am a drunkard and have come to surrender my life to Christ. As the movie was going on I felt ashamed that Jesus died on the cross because of my sins. I prayed to God to forgive me as well as the friends I drink with and I believe God has changed us. I also prayed to God to change my community from their idol worshiping so that we can live together just as Jesus and his disciples lived in peace, love and oneness . . . .
SUDAN Bible Recording Update

GHANA, New Life Opportunity Micro Finance Scheme
The fund was originated with the generous donation by people who were aware of the impact of illiteracy on getting a job. Mark, the director of the fund says, “at the end of the day we want to help people who are less privileged. The vision is to help establish greater financial stability and help single parents and widows who are less privileged.”A very small loan can help someone break down barriers that prevent employment. The entrepreneur learns how to budget, repay the loan, tithe on the gain and grow their business with solid management processes. Required business training principles cover budgeting, purchasing, bookkeeping and the local economy emphasizing the impact of inflation on small businesses.
